Case For Support: An Introduction

Why should someone give to your nonprofit organization? How does your work help others impact the cause? A Case for Support is a brief statement that clarifies the reason your organization exists and why others should support it.

Why should someone give in support of your ministry?

Your answer to this question will shape how champions think about your cause and your ministry.

Similar to a vision statement or mission statement, a case for support statement follows a formula to clearly communicate the need for your ministry and the value it brings to the broader work for the cause.

This micro-course is designed for ministry leaders, fundraisers, and champions who want to cast vision for their work. The 45-minute self-guided course will walk you through three simple steps that will formulate your case for support. You will have the option to submit your work to your local Mission increase Area Director for help, feedback, and encouragement.
