An Introduction to P-E-O

At Mission Increase, we're convinced that ministries need a champion development strategy that encourages COMPREHENSIVE growth in the cause.  The strategy we offer is called P-E-O where P is participation,  E is engagement and O is ownership. This micro-course will walk you through the creation of a P-E-O chart–a planning document outlining the set of comprehensives steps you offer your champions.  We start by listing all of the steps and then categorize different types of activities (giving, serving, sharing, praying, learning).

A Champion Development Strategy

Ministries need a champion development strategy that encourages comprehensive growth in the cause. The strategy Mission Increase (MI) offers is called P-E-O. It is a discipleship and growth strategy designed to move champions through a process of Participation, Engagement, and eventually Ownership in the cause.

This micro-course will introduce you to these steps and walk you through the development of a P-E-O chart, which will be your set of comprehensives steps you offer your champions.

To make P-E-O practical, each step is broken down categories  that include different types of activities:

  • Giving
  • Serving
  • Sharing
  • Praying
  • Learning

By the end of this micro-course, you will have completed a chart that provides a clear outline for your ministry to follow as you develop your champions.
