Reflecting on Abundance and Money

Description

Reflecting on Abundance and Money

Are you leading out of a mindset of scarcity that is characterized by worry, fear, a feeling of ‘there isn’t enough,’ and it’s all up to you to make things work out? This mindset can feel miserable and certainly is not joyful. But God is offering you an invitation to experience His freedom, even as it relates to fundraising!

At Mission Increase, we believe that every act of giving, receiving, and asking, is first and foremost a statement about the faithfulness of God. This mindset allows ministry leaders to takes the personal rejection and fear out of asking— it’s not about you!It all goes back to the generosity, abundance and faithfulness of God. We want to make sure that the way we do fundraising reflects this.

One of the antidotes to a theology of scarcity is to take time to acknowledge God’s abundance in our lives. This simple tool is designed to help ministry leaders meditate on God’s character, and prayerfully discern where the barriers are for them to fully believe this.

This tool is for ministry leaders who want to feel more alive in their fundraising.
